Since K only had to work a half day on my birthday, he gave me some time to myself and took the boys to a story time at Murry Park.
It didn't end up being as cool as we thought it was going to be and the boys got a little bored, but they were at a park so they ended up having fun anyway.
I'm super proud that K even remember to take pictures....although I think I remember making him promise to do so right before they left. After they got back from story time we got ready for a night out. We had a babysitter come feed the boys pizza and K and I went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday, where I got a free birthday burger. Then it was back to our house early and send the babysitter home and put the kids to bed. When I thought about what I wanted to do for my birthday all I really wanted was good company and some game playing, so we invited a couple of my cousins and their husbands down to play games. Catherine and Josh couldn't make it, but Emilie and Kevin and Chrissy and Brian came and I had a wonderful time. I hope they did too. I forgot to take pictures of that part.
