G trying to talk in a deep voice (the sound of cars driving):
"Hi! I'm Mr. da King. I have a job to do."
"Hi! I'm Lightning da Queen. I'm da fastest racecar."
"Hi! I'm Chick Hicks. I'm a fast racecar."
"Oh no Mr. da King, did you fall down?"
"Follow me Rookie."
"OK"
"We go to da bucket."

I'm going to have to watch out for this one...
Tonight H managed to tip over a bucket full of popcorn (I was so SURE it was far enough away), twist the lid off and suck on a tube of lotion, and practically un-decorate my Christmas tree for me. All while I'm TRYING to get him to go to sleep. Huh. See title.

Technology Vocabulary
We find such fun 'old-fashioned' toys here at Grandma's house. I was showing G how to play with this record player, explaining that you put the record on, then wind it up and it plays music. I pointed at the colorful fisher price records and asked him, "Which one should we listen to?"
He responded, "Let's listen to track 1."

Movie Theater
Yesterday G got to experience his first Movie Theater movie thanks to Grandma Henke. We went to see 'The Tale of Despereaux'. Walking into the theater he just said, "WOW!" at the size of the screen. I bought a small popcorn and he thought he was in heaven. I thought he did really well sitting through the movie. I don't know that I'd recommend this particular movie for small children. The animation was amazing but the story was a bit deep and complex and I could tell G lost interest especially once the popcorn was gone. Every once in awhile he'd get all excited about what was happening on screen, like when they needed to save the princess! I think it was a fun experience for both of us.
For icing on the cake we drove around to look at Christmas lights after ward.

Gifts
On Saturday we bundled the boys up and put them in the wagon to walk around our little neighborhood to deliver neighbor gifts. They were both so good and H lasted longer in the cold than I thought he would. Because of our current circumstances our gifts were not large or fancy, mostly homemade. I wanted to be sure and give G especially the opportunity to give. He had a hard time giving the treats at first. He wanted to keep them all, but after a while he started coming up with friends we should take treats to.
On another note, I just have to say thank you to so many friends and family who have been so generous to us and our children. We have been overwhelmed at the generosity and truly appreciate each and every one of you.

The Greatest Snow on Earth
So we've had friends from Las Vegas post pictures building a snowman and we've had friends from Oregon post pictures about building a snowman. I figured, we're in Utah, we HAVE to have pictures of us building a snowman. We go outside....lots of snow....will it stick together? NO. We had to WATER our snow to build a snowman.
And this was the biggest snowman we could make.
The good part about this...G LOVES the watering can. He even watered one patch of snow so well he said, "I see grass!"

Stuck
I was feeding H in the Living Room and G was in the Kitchen 'fixing' the dishwasher, or so he said.
After awhile I hear a knocking and hear him say, "Can you help me? I stuck in the closet." I just figured he was pretending since he sounded normal and we have child locks on all the cupboards.
A few minutes go by.
More knocking.
"Sa-rah, Can you help me? I stuck in the closet."
This is what I found.

He had gotten in the cupboard and the child lock kept him from getting out!
I laughed so hard!

Birthday Celebrations
G got to have two birthday celebrations. One with the Grandparents in Oregon when we were there for Thanksgiving and one with the family in Utah when we got together for an FHE. He is very fond of birthday celebrations in general and to have them be all about him almost made him burst with excitement. The following are a few tidbits of both celebrations.
All these present's for me!
Homemade party hats on all the nieces and nephews. G wore his the whole day!

Coming Home
Other than watching DVD's both boys slept quite a bit. There were only a few hours of crying and the worst of those were on the way home from Ogden to West Jordan.
