K had a pretty good Father's Day, even if I do say so myself. We went out the night before on a combined my birthday/his father's day date. He got most of his gifts beforehand because they were 'useful'. He got a weed wacker/trimmer that he doesn't have to fix every time he wants to use it. I wanted to make sure we had something to give him the day of though, so he also got BBQ utensils and a cover for the BBQ that he finally fixed. We are looking forward to lots of fun barbequeing this summer!
We got dressed up for church, snapped a picture before we left so that everyone still looked presentable, and went to sacrament. This mothers day was the first time G had participated in the primary children singing. He didn't sing, but he was up there looking at us. For Father's Day, he refused to even go up on stage, leaving his good friend Kage the only sunbeam up there.
After church we just hung out as a family and tried to make sure Dad knows how much we love him!
