This is exactly what Kim has been doing up in Washington. I was there for a couple of weeks and she was doing apple sauce and grape juice. She's really caught the bug of canning this year too!
That juice looks great! You go girl! We make apricot juice, grape juice, apple juice and plum juice, and have made cherry juice (make sure you use pie cherries for that one). Then we make use the apricot or grape to mix with a frozen concentrate to get an even more yummy finished product. Some of our favorites are apricot-orange, or apricot-kiwi-pineapple. I LOVE using the plum juice to make plum jelly! We usually get the plums from the Dea family.
If you canning bug continues, we have a pressure canner cooker you are welcome to use to do vegetables like green beans, or meat products like stew. I love canning too! I'd be happy to show or tell you how to do either of those or others.
Mmmm, I discovered that homemade grape juice is the best! I only got 23 quarts but I hope to do more next year because I know we will use it all. (and it makes the house smell so good!)
