Today was the start of G's Spring Break. We had various activities planned (gym, library time, meet dad for lunch). By the time we got to lunch with K, I needed a kid break. K jokingly said, 'Do you want to switch? You go back to work for me and I'll spend the rest of the day with the kids.'
You know what, I really, really wanted to. I love my children so much, but I wish it were possible for me and K to just switch places for a day. It would give me a break and it would give K more time with the kids. Do you think anyone at his work would notice?

I'm sure it's good to have a change up once in a while! Thats why we love weekends!
I laughed, because I have this same conversation with Huck... my 3 year old. I work from home, and there are many times that I sit down to work, and he says, "mom, you not have to work" I say, "ok, you work for me, and I'll play! that sounds like a great idea!"
Hopefully you're able to get a little break. We all need one sometimes ☺
