We were out doing yard work today and there was an incident.
G was so excited to show us one of his latest 'tricks'. He was running around and tripped and was positioned just right for his face to hit the onion garden box and scrape down it. It looked like it hurt soooo bad and he screamed pretty good. We spent quite a bit of time comforting and cleaning and hugging after that.
Once we got it cleaned up and G calmed down enough we thought we ought to put some medicine and band-aids on it. H wanted to get in on the band-aid action and he put his on all by himself.
Poor G looks so miserable. We've tried to keep some ice on it, but he doesn't like the cold. We'll watch and see what happens with his face over the next few days.

Poor guy. It amazes me how resilient kids are.
Oh man, I didn't know (or didn't remember?) that happened to him. Poor little guy. That black eye looks really painful! But kinda tough :)
