One of the moms in our neighborhood set up a firehouse tour and invited anyone in our area to come. G was particularly excited about it.
He wore his fireman hat and tried to wear his badge, but it kept falling off.
He was really quite attentive as we were given a tour of the ambulance and fire truck.
The kids all got to go inside both of the vehicles. That was cool!
H was happy to just sit and observe. (I know he looks more cowboy/engineer than fireman, but the bandanna came with the hat and badge and it was the closest I had)
G also got to be dressed up in real Fireman clothes!
The firemen were very nice to us. They gave all the kids hydrant pins and sticker badges when they left.
We are very thankful for our local fire fighters and for all the others out there who put their lives on the line to keep us safe!
